Daren joined our Burkhart Real Estate & Auction team in April of 2024 as a licensed Real Estate Agent. Growing up in the vicinity of Liberal and Kismet, he is a proud graduate of Southwestern Heights High School. In addition to his educational background, Daren holds an Associates degree in Agriculture, a Firefighter certification, and recently acquired his Real Estate license in February 2024. Prior to joining our team, Daren dedicated a decade of his career to the Kansas Department of Transportation, where he served as a Highway Maintenance Worker. Currently residing in Dodge City, Daren is eager to extend his expertise to southwest Kansas, assisting clients and customers of Burkhart Real Estate & Auction with their buying and selling requirements. Furthermore, he will be collaborating with Mike in preparing and conducting auctions. Outside of work, Daren enjoys a range of hobbies such as rodeo, roping, contributing to the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo, golfing, exploring the outdoors, cooking, barbecuing, fishing, hunting, and traveling. Additionally, he enjoys spending valuable moments with his family, including his Son, Reegan, Daughter-in-law, Ashten, and Grandson, Jaxten.
